Manchester City is ready to cash out to lure Barcelona’s right back, Daniel Alves (27), to Manchester, according to the English newspaper
Daily Mail. Manchester City is only looking for the best players in the world, and Alves suits them perfectly for either the right back or the right wing position. FC Barcelona is already in contact with Alves in the hope of extending his contract, which has yet to be finalized, and meanwhile City is watching the situation.
According to the Daily Mail, Alves has supposedly had his head turned by the possibility of greater riches at Eastlands. Barcelona do not want to sell Alves, bought from Sevilla two years ago for £36 million. If the transfer would take place, Barcelona could expect a significant amount of money in profit. The Catalan club know that Manchester City will press strongly for a deal if Alves shows any interest in the move.
